Chisels – Wide chisels
With its wider working end, the wide chisel is ideally suited for removing material from larger surfaces such as floors, walls or ceilings. Wide chisels are used, e.g. for prying up and chiseling off coverings and coatings on a large scale, for instance, removing old flooring or coats of adhesive or plaster when renovating or refurbishing. With a wide chisel, used with a powerful F+K pneumatic hammers or chisel hammer, you can also work on concrete floors, loosen glued linoleum, roofing felt and tar paper, pry up asphalt and screed as well as knock off cement joins, rust and other residues.
