F+K hammering units developed specifically for foundry applications break the sand core and set the casting in vibration. The hammering station is suitable for castings that can be emptied without additional rotation or vibration. It can also be used for preliminary decoring and combined with a subsequent vibration machine. Depending on the configuration, loading is manual, by crane or by robot.
The turning decoring station is used when hammering alone cannot sufficiently empty a casting. F+K hammering units break the sand core and set the casting in vibration. At the same time, the fixture can rotate the casting by up to 270° so that loose core sand can escape from the cavities. This method is suitable for decoring tasks where rotation is sufficient and no additional vibration treatment is required.
The Corebreaker 605 decores varying castings using a stationary F+K hammering unit. This compact, openly accessible machine is suitable for small batches, including pilot runs, with manual or crane loading.
We supply our decoring solutions worldwide. F+K machines operate in foundries across Europe, Asia, North and South America, and Africa. We support your project from planning through commissioning at your premises.
