DECORING BY PERCUSSION

Hammering stations

F+K hammering units developed specifically for foundry applications break the sand core and set the casting in vibration. The hammering station is suitable for castings that can be emptied without additional rotation or vibration. It can also be used for preliminary decoring and combined with a subsequent vibration machine. Depending on the configuration, loading is manual, by crane or by robot.

Which solution fits?

How the machine works

Break the core

F+K hammering units strike defined contact points. They break the sand core and excite the clamped casting.

No rotation

A hammering station is suitable when loose core sand can be removed without additional rotation or vibration. The fixture is designed for the casting.

Loading

Depending on volume and production flow, manual loading, a robot, a rotary table or through-feed are possible.
